Where can you buy the best armor?

I believe Droknars Forge should sell the highest armor for all classes. You can obtain it earlier from collectors in the desert, also highest armor. Both collectors armor from the desert and Droknars are the same, question is, do you want to hunt for materials or use more on money to buy it.

new question. There are different types of armor that do the same thing. But say one needs shells whent he other needs steel ingots. Is the steel ingot armor gonna be the best or is it just for looks?

I'm gonna bet You are a Warrior compairing Wyvren and Platemail armor,

the answer is : they are exactly the same, and the only diffrence is looks.

Droknars and beyond, all armour has the maximum stats. Marhan's Grotto and The Granite Citadel have 2 sets of expensive, totally awesome looking armour each, (for instance, tormentors and fanatics are in marhans, while bonelace and the other one are in granite citadel). There is no benefit to these as opposed to the Droknar's Forge armour, apart from my female necro looking ridiculously cool with the expensive bonelace armour
